TREKKING THE REAL ANDES RANGE
CORDILLERA REAL (12días)

FIRST DAY: LA PAZ - LAKE KHOTIA From La Paz we will go up to the Jichukhota valley by private transportation (3hrs), getting into the region of Chachacomani – Negruni. We will camp near to the lake, at 4.400 m. above sea level.

SECOND DAY: LAKE KHOTIA - LAGOON AJWANI An easy 5 hours walk. We will camp near to the lagoon. During the walk we will visit an abandoned gold mine.

THIRD DAY: LAGOON AJWANI - LAGOON JURIKHOTA We will walk for 7 hours very close from the snowy Checapa. We will ascend until 2 steps from the 4.800 m. above sea level. Camping near the Jurikhota lagoon, at 4.700 m. above sea level.

FOURTH DAY: LAGOON JURIKHOTA - LAGOON CHIARKHOTA We will ascend to a passage at 5.150 m. above sea level, the highest step during our walk, after that We will descend to the Condoriri base camp. Camping near the Chiarkhota lagoon at 4.700 m. above sea level.

FIFTH DAY: CONDORIRI. Rest.

SIXTH DAY: CONDORIRI - VISCACHANI We will go up two steps nearby the 5.000 m. above sea level, then we will descend until the Zongo valley. We will camp at 3.800 m. above sea level.

SEVENTH DAY: VISCACHANI - UMAPALCA A 5 hrs. ascent, with spectacular views near the snowy TIQUIMANI. After that there is a 2 hours descent until the village of Umapalca. Camping at 4.000 m. above sea level.

EIGHTH DAY: UMAPALCA - SANJA PAMPA 6 hrs, of easy walking up to the village of Sanja Pampas. We will camp at 3.800 m. above sea level.

NINTH DAY: SANJA PAMPA - CHALLAPAMPA A short ascent then a descend for 6 hrs, along the Inca Trail of the Choro, we will start the entrance into the valleys of Yungas (finally some warm time). We will camp at 2.800 m. above sea level.

TENTH DAY: CHALLAPAMPA - SANDILLANI Nine hours of walking through the dense vegetation with beautifull hills will the the landscape for today. We will camp in LA CASA DEL JAPONES (Japanese house) at 2.100 m. above sea level.

ELEVENTH DAY: SANDILLANI - COROICO In an easy walk of 3 hrs. we will descend until we arrive to the village of Chairo, after that we will continue up to the village of Coroico by car (uow!!!), at 1.700 m. above sea level. Hotel

TWELFTH DAY: COROICO – LA PAZ Return to La Paz City by private transportation, is drifted in the itinerary that we will observe coca plantations. (3 hrs.).
