SALAR DE UYUNI

We will have the possibility to live the complete white, where you will get lost between Earth and Heaven. At the same time you will be able to drive a motorcycle in real sand deserts. All of this in the same incredible adventure.

FIRST DAY: Arrival in La Paz. Day available for acclimatizing at the altitude, city tour etc..

SECOND DAY: LA PAZ-ORURO (4hrs).Departure from La Paz city(3600 mts high) across the highland (Altiplano) on a full paved road we'll arrive to the old mining city of Oruro. Hotel.

THIRD DAY: ORURO-JIRIRA (8 hrs.)We will have more paved road until Challapata Village, then we continuing trough a sands road. During the way we will cross different rivers; this region has a great landscapes with his old typical villages (aymaras, quechuas). Before Jirira Village (3800 mts high), we can see the Thunupa volcano fantastic and mystique. Jirira is located in the base of the volcano beside the salar of Uyuni. Arrive to Jirira. Basic lodge

FOURTH DAY:JIRIRA-SALT FIELD-FISH ISLAND-SAN JUAN ( 7 hrs)After breakfast we will cross the salt field of Uyuni (10.000 km2), on the way we visit the Fish Island with the typical giant cactus (piloes cereus selcianus) 8 m tall, then we continuing the crossing trough the salt field until the small village of San Juan . Basic lodge.

FIFTH DAY: SAN JUAN –SILOLI DESERT-LAGUNA COLORADA (8 hrs)Leaving the village we will see quite often Vicuñas camel leaping salt near the lagoons Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Ramaditas. After that we pass on the Siloli Desert (the Bolivian Sahara) then we finally reach the Laguna Colorada (colored Lagoon). Basic lodge.

SIXTH DAY: LAGUNA COLORADA – GEISERS-LAGUNA VERDE-ALOTA (8 hrs)With 1 hr. drive we will arrive to the Geisers of “Sol de mañana” (Morning Sun) and we can appreciate the intense Vulcan activity. Continuing trough the desert of “Salvador Dali” we will reach the Laguna Verde (green lagoon) at the base of Llicancahur Volcano. After that we will ride north way until Alota village. Basic lodge

SEVENTH DAY : ALOTA-UYUNI (6 hrs) Our trip will continue trough the desert. On the road we will stop to visit the mining center of San Cristobal. Before Uyuni village we will visit the Trains Cemetery with a big concentration of ancient machinery. Arrive to Uyuni. Hotel.

EIGHT DAY: UYUNI – POTOSÍ (4 hrs) Leaving Uyuni we'll go trough a dirt road to Potosí where we can appreciate the entire Bolivia Mining Story. One of that says that The Spanish colonization got as much silver enough to build a bridge from Potosí to Spain. City tour, Museum, and cultural monument can be appreciated.

NINETH DAY: POTOSÍ –LA PAZ (10 hrs.) We leave very early in the morning, because we have parts of dirt road then we will continuing to the main road to La Paz. Arrive to La Paz in the late afternoon. Hotel.

TENTH DAY: DEPARTURE

THE TOUR INCLUDES: motorcycle, support vehicle 4WD, mechanical assistance , first aid kit, lodges and Hotel during the tour, entrance to the national park, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), transfer from/to the airport.

NOT INCLUDED: sleeping bag, gas for the motorcycle, bike Gear, meals and Hotels in the city of La Paz, entrance ticket, tips and souvenirs.

The Tour INCLUDES: motorcycle (with insurance), lodgings and hotels, meal during the tour, bilingual guides, and technical assistance, support 4WD vehicle. 2 night in La Paz, Goodbye dinner in La Paz. It doesn't INCLUDE: fuel, Motorcycle Gears (available for rent – ask for price and size). Extra days in La Paz. OPTIONAL personal insurance available Support vehicle available for passengers with an additional cost of 520 $US per person.

NOTE: There is a deductible of 500 $US that the driver have to pay in case of accident or replace the broken parts in base at a spare parts price list given at the departure.
