DAY 1
LA PAZ-JIRIRA (10 HRS)
Departure from La Paz(3600 mts high), passing on the way the mining city of Oruro, Challapata village, Huari village and the Salinas de Garci Mendoza village famous for the high producción of quinua plantations, we arrive to Jirira (3.800 mts high) village at the foot of Thunupa volcano and near the shores of Uyuni salt field. Basic lodge

DAY 2
JIRIRA-FISH ISLAND-SAN JUAN (7 HRS.)
we traverse a great part of the immense salt field of UYUNI (10.000 km2), considered the biggest in the world, in the way we will visit the fish Island were we can see the giants cactus (8 mts tall), we continuing trough the salt field. Arrive to San Juan village. Basic lodge.

DAY 3
SAN JUAN – LAG. COLORADA (8 HRS.)
Early in the morning we continuing trough the desert with exellent panorama of the area. We reach the banks of lagoon Cañapa, then we will continuing near the Hedionda, Honda, Ramaditas lagoons, after passing the lagoons we will continuing across the Siloli desert in the way we will visit the “árbol de piedra” (stone tree) . Arrive to lagoon Colorada with a big concentration of flamingos. . Basic lodge

DAY 4
LAG. COLORADA – LAG. VERDE – ALOTA (8 HRS)
After 1 hr. drive we arrive at the crater of SOL DE MAÑANA and its intense volcanic and fumaroles activity. . After 2 hrs we reach the banks of lagoon verde, in the base of Llicancahur volcano, then we drive trough the desert of “Salvador Dali” . Arrive to Alota. Basic lodge.

DAY 5
ALOTA – UYUNI (6HRS.)
This journey we will passing for the miner center of San Cristobal, before arriving to Uyuni village (3665 mts high) we are going to appreciate the air museum with a big concentration of ancients trains. Arrive to Uyuni. Hotel

DAY 6
UYUNI – LA PAZ (10 HRS)
Return to the city of La Paz for the main route.
