MOUNTAIN BIKE TO SORATA (2 DAYS)

FIRST DAY: LA PAZ - SORATA We will leave the city of La Paz in private transport up to the lake Titikaka. The altiplanica tableland near to the lake, shows us a green carpet covered with beans and potatoes plantations that alternate with Eucaliptus trees, we will go through the villages of Huarina, Achacachi and Warisata, until arriving to the crossroad of Wallata, a 2 hrs. ride (4.200 m. above sea level), From now on we will start our bicycles descent along the main highway toward the deep valleys, we will have a spectacular view of the snowy ILLAMPU, with more than 6.000 m. above sea level.

After a 4 hrs. bicycle decent we will arrive to the village of SORATA. (2.700 m. above sea level). Hotel. SECOND DAY: SORATA – LA PAZ Return to the city of La Paz by vehicle (4 hrs.)
