CLIMBING THE CONDORIRI (NATIONAL PARK)
NORMAL ROUTE TO PEQUEÑO ALPAMAYU (5450 m. above sea level)
From April to November

DIFFICULTY: 55º

CLIMBING TIME: 6 hrs.

FIRST DAY: LA PAZ - TUNI - CHIARKHOTA From La Paz (2.30 hrs.) we will go to the TUNI Lagoon by private transportation. From Llama square we will walk for 3 hrs to the lagoon Chiarkhota (4.650 m. above sea level), located at the base of mountain. Camping near the lagoon.

SECOND DAY: CLIMB TO THE PEQUEÑO ALPAMAYU After 3 hrs. of slow walking through the Morrenas, we will reach the main glacier, the first hours, we will climb without technical passages until we arrive to the base of the snowy pyramid, after that we will have a technical climb during aprox. 80 m. (55º). After passing this technical side, we will easily ascend up to the summit of El PEQUEÑO ALPAMAYU in 3 hrs. (5.450 m. above sea level). We will have some minutes over the summit to admire the mountainous and the landscape around us. A 4 hrs. return. Camp.

THIRD DAY: RETURN TO LA PAZ A 2hrs. walk back to the Tuni lagoons then a private car we return to la Paz. (2.30 hrs.)

This INCLUDES: mountain guide, assistant guide (if more than 4 people), cook, complete meal, private transportation (with insurance), carrier mules for baggage, optional technical climbing equipment (mountain shoes, crampons, ice axe, rope, carabiners), camping and cooking equipment.

NOT INCLUDED: sleeping bag, Backpack. OPTIONAL personal insurance available. (ask for more info) THE PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING: Anorak, mountain trousers, thermal underwear, personal first aid kit, trekking shoes, sun block, mountain glasses, torch, water bottle, mountain sleeping bag, extra personal back pack, mountain gloves, woolen bonnet and the technical climbing equipment is optional (mountain shoes, crampons, harness, ice axe, rope, carabiners)
