FIRST DAY: LA PAZ - COROICO
We will leave the city of La Paz in private transportation, up to the crossroad of La Cumbre (4.650 m. above sea level), a 1 hr. ride. From now on we will start the bicycles descent, along Bolivia highway, a worldwide well-known highway. From the high mountains we will go into the sub-tropical valleys of Yungas, with beautiful panoramic views of the region, we will also observe lands extensions with coca plantations. After a comfortable and relaxed descent (A
5 hr. descent) we will arrive to the small village of Yolosa (1.200 m. above sea level). From this place we will ascend by vehicle (40 `) up to the village of Coroico. (1,700 m. above sea level). Hotel.
SECOND DAY: COROICO – LA PAZ
In the morning we will take a walk along the population's surroundings, to see its beautiful natural attractiveness. After lunch we will return to the city of La Paz by automobile. (A 4 hrs. trip).
